| Lee T. | Vancouver, WA | September 3, 2008 | These groups aren't interested in the environment, they are only interested in their own power and exerting that power over the public. |
| Robert k. | Eugene, OR | September 3, 2008 | I am very tired of these special interest groups stopping progress in afforadable engery sources. They need to be stopped. I believe the majority of the population is for the use of multiple energy sources |

| Laura R. | Scappoose, OR | September 1, 2008 | Go for it! |
| Christopher R. | Scappoose, OR | September 1, 2008 | Moving forward requires a certian level of courage, and in this case the courage is simply to do what is right and makes sense. The few surfers can move somewhere else, and the one or two birds that pass due to the turbines are a price we can pay. Consider the huge benefits and MOVE FORWARD! |
| Tammy R. | Beaverton, OR | September 1, 2008 | x |
| Steve C. | Molalla, OR | September 1, 2008 | LNG is not a affordable option and it is more dependance on foreign fuel. Northwest Natural is increasing prices to scare us into thinking LNG is a good idea. |
| John T. | Saint Helens, OR | September 1, 2008 | Why does our congress and senate listen so much to the people of the fringe, the environmentalist. Our government representatives are so out of touch with everyday citizens, its ridiculous. |
| paul o. | Scottsburg, OR | September 1, 2008 | x |
| Robert B. | Beaverton, OR | August 31, 2008 | Let's do whatever it takes to get some affordable energy that does not involve oil. |
| STewart B. | Portland, OR | August 31, 2008 | I thought all these would benefit the people who are having problems paying there electric bill... Seems like to me all these energy efficient cars and solar homes are for the people who dont need to worry about there bills. We get the energy efficient light bulbs and then they raise there rates on electricity |
| Marsha W. | Eugene, OR | August 31, 2008 | I'll back wind, wave, solar, geothermal (but get away from Newberry, eh?) -- but NO MORE OIL! Nor coal! Talk about dirty!!!! Let's go -- this is America -- ingenuity is our trademark. We CAN develop clean, renewable energy. Let the Middle East keep their oil & stop controlling us. Time to take our bat & ball & go home. |

| Jon R. | Monroe, OR | August 30, 2008 | Merkly IS supported by Kolingoski who also is an idiot! How did this anti-Oregonian get reelected? |
| Mark H. | Hillsboro, OR | August 30, 2008 | x |
| Sharon W. | Eugene, OR | August 29, 2008 | I live on a single income. The high cost of electric keeps me at a point where I live pay day to pay day during the winter months & quite often fall behind. I am pro alternative energy sources. Oregon is fortunate in having wind, wave & geothermal sources if we can succeed in developing these resources. |
| Melissa W. | Gresham, OR | August 29, 2008 | x |
| Paul W. | Gresham, OR | August 29, 2008 | x |
| Sam D. | Portland, OR | August 29, 2008 | Why did you leave out Nuclear Power? Over 90% of the electric power in France is generated by Nuclear Power!!! |
| Carol V. | Bend, OR | August 29, 2008 | With all the new technology available to us, we (all of America including Oregon) need to utilize our natural resources (wind, solar, but IN PARTICULAR natural gas and coal) to get us away from being dependent upon foreign countries. |
| Aaron S. | Beaverton, OR | August 29, 2008 | Oregon can be the Wave power "superpower" of energy - Let's get on the ball !! |

| Franz K. | Salem, OR | August 29, 2008 | x |
| Ryan W. | Saint Helens, OR | August 29, 2008 | Wind Power It's clean and renewable Natural Gas We need more clean power for buses, cars, and power plants. Wave Power Hydroelectric Tearing down dams makes Oregon more dependent on fossil fuels. Geothermal Power Plants near Newberry could produce renewable clean power for tens of thousands in Oregon. Biomass Power |
| trever b. | August 29, 2008 | x | |
| Charles T. | Beaverton, OR | August 29, 2008 | Let's get our heads on straight and boost Oregon's wind, geothermal and yes, even natural gas energy. With them, we will be able to grow our economy. Without them, Oregon's economy will wither and we will become a "third-world" state. |
| Melissa V. | Bend, OR | August 28, 2008 | x |
| Robert H. | Springfield, OR | August 28, 2008 | x |
| cindy a. | Roseburg, OR | August 28, 2008 | x |
| Don R. | Hillsboro, OR | August 28, 2008 | Yes, better, cleaner, CHEAPER sources of energy and let's not forget the loggers, as they where the first group to be taken down the the envirowacko, tree hugging, stinky patchouli smelling freaks. Question of the day is. If Al Gore determined that the manufacture of patchouli oil helped cause Global Warming, what would all the hippies downtown do, and what smells more, a hippie wearing patchouli or one without? |
| Duston H. | August 28, 2008 | The state of Oregon needs to move forward on energy sources. I noticed Nuclear and Solar Energy was not mentioned. | |
| Glenene G. | Astoria, OR | August 28, 2008 | America needs to use her own resources, which is plentiful. We need to stop the enviromentalist who are ignorant and want us to live like a third world country. Families are suffering do to their actions in blocking renewable energies. |

| Paul W. | Salem, OR | August 28, 2008 | x |
| Owen D. | Astoria, OR | August 28, 2008 | I think the LNG project thats being poposed in Clatsop county is a good start to being more energy independent and stabalize the escalating prices. Many people don't realize they have an older plant in Portland already. |
| Kermit C. | Florence, OR | August 27, 2008 | x |
| Larry G. | Amity, OR | August 27, 2008 | x |

| Joyce S. | August 27, 2008 | For 30 years I've watched and known the day would come when using natural resorces that were non polluting and renewalable would take center stage! I support your efforts!!! | |
| Jan J. | Salem, OR | August 27, 2008 | x |
| Richard C. | Salem, OR | August 27, 2008 | I think these power sources are much better than the ones we are currently using like coal and other fossile fuels. But we should still be careful while creating and using these new power producing facilites, if we're going to do this we should be as thoughtfull as possible of the enviroment taking extra steps to protect it. I noticed that all the wind turbines are white which are probably harder for the birds to see so why not paint them a dark green, that would stand out on a white or blue background much more and might reduce the number of birds killed by the wind turbines, this might give the radicals one less thing to use against the wind turbines, because your doing everything possible to perserve the wildlife. |
| Bill M. | August 27, 2008 | x | |
| Christopher B. | Creswell, OR | August 27, 2008 | x |
| roxanne d. | Newberg, OR | August 27, 2008 | yes, i have been waiting for this. |
| Scott A. | Beaverton, OR | August 27, 2008 | you have some valid points (i.e. ill-conceived opposition to wind power), but you should NOT paint all environmentalists as out-of-touch radical extremists!!! By the way, don't think that people are not aware that this is funded by a right-wing republican organization. Are you all hypocritical religious fanatics who believe that the earth was put here solely to serve the needs and whims of man-kind? |
| Jennifer I. | August 27, 2008 | We need to do something, average income families are not going to be able to pay the power bills soon. We are having a hard time making ends meet. | |
| zachary r. | Lake Oswego, OR | August 27, 2008 | x |
| Sterling C. | Ashland, OR | August 26, 2008 | Oregon needs more renewable energy! Yay for Oregon! |
| MICHAEL R. | Gresham, OR | August 26, 2008 | Dont let the radical dummies stop our search for more energy. We need the LNG deal as well as more wind power and geothermal. Geothermal being my most high priority! |
| Joseph W. | Salem, OR | August 26, 2008 | x |
| Melissa M. | Madras, OR | August 26, 2008 | x |
| Jackie O. | Eugene, OR | August 26, 2008 | Definitely interested in these clean sources of energy. |
| Judy K. | Dallas, OR | August 26, 2008 | I encourage Oregon to develop all means of power including nuclear, natural gas, and alternatives. |
| Warren F. | Beaverton, OR | August 25, 2008 | x |
| Austin B. | Cottage Grove, OR | August 25, 2008 | We need this. Don't give in to radical minorities full of people who don't understand what they stand for. |
| ted a. | Klamath Falls, OR | August 25, 2008 | Energy is necessary for civilization. Also, tell the federal politicians to drill in ANWAR and off shore. |
| ted a. | Klamath Falls, OR | August 25, 2008 | Energy is necessary for civilization. Also, tell the federal politicians to drill in ANWAR and off shore. |
| Dave S. | Bend, OR | August 25, 2008 | x |
| Lonnie D. | North Bend, OR | August 24, 2008 | I support the development of clean and affordable sources of energy for Oregon. |
| Jon P. | Molalla, OR | August 24, 2008 | I think President Bush should stomp the US and explain to the people the fuel situation. How do we get him to do that? |
| Laurie V. | Portland, OR | August 23, 2008 | x |
| Bob W. | Grants Pass, OR | August 23, 2008 | Brian A. from Roesburg is absoultely correct. Also, research T. Henry Moray. He had the solution in the 30's !!! |
| Bob W. | Grants Pass, OR | August 23, 2008 | x |
| Grayce C. | Harrisburg, OR | August 23, 2008 | I agree with the desire to develop clean and other sources of energy but don't neglect searching for oil. We still need oil and it is foolish to not want to find oil here at home. |
| keith a. | Ashland, OR | August 23, 2008 | x |
| Brian A. | Roseburg, OR | August 23, 2008 | If morons like Thomas Edison and J.P.Morgan would of funded Nicola Tesla on his plan and invention for free energy instead of backing out because they made more money with fossil fuels, this wouldn't be an issue, now would it! I will sign this but, it is going to take a lot more than those solutions to repair the damage those two idiotic greedy fools and their rulers created. |
